    Buyer Licence

    Version 1.0 · effective 27 September 2026

    In short: you buy a licence from the seller, not the code itself; you can build and sell games with it (one with a Single licence, unlimited with a Multi licence), but never resell or share the source.

    1. Who this licence is between

    This licence is a contract between you, the buyer ("Licensee"), and the seller of the Asset shown on its listing page (the "Licensor"). HyperCodeStore concludes it on the seller's behalf and collects the payment. HyperCodeStore is not the Licensor. Only the Licensor is responsible under this licence, including for any infringement of intellectual property rights, even though you pay HyperCodeStore. Where HyperCodeStore's operator sells its own Asset, the operator is the Licensor of that Asset.

    The Asset is licensed to you, not sold.

    Your rights as a consumer against HyperCodeStore as the store you paid, including under the Refund Policy, are not affected by this section.

    2. What you may do

    With either licence you may, worldwide and without time limit:

    • install and use the Asset on computers you or your organisation control;
    • modify it, reskin it and combine it with your own work;
    • build, publish, sell and monetise (including with ads and in-app purchases) compiled games and apps made from it ("End Products");
    • use screenshots and videos of your End Product to market it.

    Single licence: one End Product (one published title, on any number of platforms and stores, including its updates and localised versions). A different reskin needs another licence.

    Multi licence: unlimited End Products.

    Contractors may work on your project with your copy, only for your project, and must not keep or reuse it.

    3. What you may not do

    • sell, give away, share or publish the source code or project files, modified or not, as source, as a template or asset pack, or on any marketplace; this includes selling your reskin as source code;
    • share one licence between several buyers who split the cost;
    • let users of your End Product extract or resell the Asset;
    • use the Asset, or HyperCodeStore, to train or fine-tune artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, or as a data set, without the Licensor's written consent;
    • remove copyright notices or third-party licence files, or claim that you made the original Asset;
    • use trademarks or logos included in the Asset except as needed to describe it.

    4. Third-party components

    Some Assets include third-party components (for example open-source libraries or SDKs) under their own licences. Those licences take precedence for those components. The listing says what is excluded or must be obtained separately.

    5. Payment and refunds

    You pay HyperCodeStore, which settles your payment for the Asset. Refunds follow the Refund Policy and consumer law. A refund ends this licence: you must stop using the Asset, delete all copies, and not publish new End Products with it.

    6. Updates and support

    The Licensor may provide updates of the same listing at no charge. Support is provided by the Licensor as described on the listing page.

    7. If an Asset is removed

    If an Asset is removed from HyperCodeStore, you keep your licence and, as a rule, your downloads. If it is removed because of an intellectual property or legal problem, downloads may be blocked, and you must stop using the Asset if a court or authority requires it and we tell you so; contact Support about a refund. Keep your own backup of the Assets you download.

    8. The Licensor stands behind the rights (paid Assets)

    If someone claims that a paid Asset, as delivered, infringes their copyright or trademark, the Licensor will defend you against the claim and pay damages finally awarded against you or agreed in a settlement it approved. This does not apply to claims caused by your changes, your combination with other material, or your breach of this licence. You must tell the Licensor (through HyperCodeStore support) within 10 days of learning of the claim and let the Licensor control the defence. This is limited to the amounts in section 10.

    9. Quality and your legal rights

    Every Asset is reviewed before listing for quality and technical reasons (see how we review listings), but the Licensor does not promise that it is error-free or fits your exact purpose.

    If you are a consumer, you have the legal rights of EU and Hungarian law for digital content that is faulty or not as described, including having it brought into conformity, a price reduction, or ending the contract. Nothing in this licence limits those rights. If you are a business, the Asset is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.

    10. Liability

    To the extent the law allows, the Licensor's total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the Asset in the 6 months before the claim, and the Licensor is not liable for indirect loss or lost profits. Nothing limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or harm to life, body or health, or any liability that consumer law does not allow to be limited.

    11. Ending the licence and law

    The Licensor may end this licence if you seriously breach it; you may end it at any time. When it ends you must stop using the Asset and delete your copies; End Products you published before a breach-free ending may stay published.

    Hungarian law applies, without affecting the mandatory protection of the law of your country if you are a consumer.
